Which of these wheels will fit?
Some of you may remember my previous thread:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...experts+offset
I ordered 18x9 +45 and 18x9.5 +40 that Rishie suggested but bad news arrived today, the manufacturer does not have these sizes in stock and for special order they are asking for minimum quantity of double digit amount of wheels
The distributor here has the following in stock:
8x18 +37 (black)
9.5x18 +30 (black)
-------------
8x18 +37 (white)
9x18 +15 (white)
10x18 +22 (white)
Looks like my only option for the front is 8x18 which may be too narrow especially compared to the rear (iow understeer).
According to Jimlab's tyre and wheel sizing calculator the outside clearance for 9.5x18 +30 is -0.07 and for 10x18 +22 it is -0.64
My first question is what kind of tyre and wheel combinations can I do with these to work on my car? My second question is what does -0.07 and -0.64 means in layman's terms, slightly rolling or pulling the fenders? I'm ok with rolling fenders but don't want to thin them out and pull them out as I don't like that look.
