Tein S Tech Prings Vs Everyone Else

I was wondering the pros or cons of this setup. Camber plates need?

Tein S-Tech springs paired with Koni or AGX Struts.

How comfortable are they? Reliable? Does it git-r-done? How do you feel in the corners?

Will that 1" drop effect me with a 205/55/16 tires and a +42 offset wheel?

I need to learn suspensions, help me out G's.

hey

i have tein stech paired with koni yellows. Its amazing, its comfortable on the road yet stiff for those on coming corners. There is a noticible difference between them and any of the stock setups. The only thing with the this combo is that you have to set the koni's to level 2 all the way around cause the springs are very soft. This balances them out. Also from my experience there are no after market wheels that will fit the tein stech's without spacers. The rear clears all rims but the front springs rub on the tires of wider rims. I have 15 inch rims with 225 tires and i am unsure of what offset they are but they fit fine on my stock suspension setup. They no longer fit fine now. I needed spacers and stud extensions. If i were u i would look for another set of springs if your not running stock rims. Also the rear is not lowered that much with this setup but the front is slammed i will try and find a picture to post up. I hope this helped you in making a decision.

p.s no camber plates are needed. I don't have too much negative camber on the front but its there and the rear has the stock negative camber so things haven't changed in that sense. Also when reading your post over again I think those rims and tires might fit but i am unsure about the offset. can anyone tell me if his offset is close to those of the s5 t2 rims? sorry for such a newb question :S

I'm riding on S-tech springs on my stock R1 shocks w/ 18" wheels and i have no problem running 265s in the rear and 235 up front, up front it will rub at very low speeds countersteering but thats it.

I have them on my FC, and the tires rubbed the springs SEVERELY on both the 225/50/17's, and the stock 205/55/16's... Didn't have to run spacers, but I had to use 205/40/17's up front...
