TEIN question SS/FLEX for FD

so i found a deal on a set of
TEIN SS + addition springs that are rated 10kg/8kg like the flexes
for $1158

or a set of
TEIN Flex for $1540.

can the SS just change to the new 10/8 springs and be just as good as the flexes in terms of performance/ride quality? (i heard there is less noise with the SS because of the useless pillowballs in flex's)

or should i just stick with the FLEX's??

help please. thanks!

Major difference is that the SS will lose suspension travel when you lower the vehicle. The more it's lowered the more you will lose ride quality. Stay away from the 405.

I can always source a pair of 6kg springs for the Tein Flex's. that way you have all the spring rates you would want.

Tein flex can lower vehicle without losing ride quality or suspension travel.

I can definitely get it but the pricing is very expensive. At that price point I might as well sell you a set of Zeal coilovers for less money.

If you want EDFC then Tein Mono's, if not then definitely go with the Zeals.

Thanks for the info Rishie, I'll get back to you when I make my suspension change end of the season.
