TEIN identity Q
thanks to a moderator i will repost this Q here in the correct forum, sorry for those of u who see it 2x
my new to me FD has what look like TEIN suspension units. TEIN's site lists HA, RA, RE and Flex units as being suitable for the FD.
they all seem to have 16 position damping control
the shocks on my car have an 8 position adjuster on the damper body
anybody recognise them, they may be a few years old?
if i haven't attached the image correctly it can be seen here to

oooohh looks like the previous owner didn't take care of those threads.. they look rusted, you'd better hope they're not seized..
since they're steel bodied threads my guess is that they're tein HA's

go the mazdaspeed MS-01 wheels off after adapting a tool to spin off the big alloy 8 sided nut on the cover
and was then able to remove the wheelnuts, not without using a breaking bar and 21mm socket though...looks like they were put on too tight with an air tool AND the well in the wheels didn't allow enough enough clearance to get the car's nut wrench onto the nuts
(glad i found that out before i punctured somewhere distant, will grind down the wrench head to fit in those narrow wells)
anyway was able to get a good look at the shocks and found some numbers stamped into the lowers, look like they are KYB shocks...but have found nothing on the KYB website for the RX-7 except electronically controlled shocks and they are not that!
