I just picked up a set of T1-Rs at a very attractive price.

Does anyone know how they preform??

They're brand new, replacing the T1-S. The T1-S is (was) a great bang-for-the-buck tire, not quite as good as the best (BFG KD), but quite a bit cheaper.

Supposedly the T1-R has a stiffer sidewall with some revisions to the tread and compound. It should be a very good tire.

Actually the R has a softer sidewall according to the ST(S,X,etc) SCCA guys.
