Suspension switch

I'm looking at options for changing out my stock suspension in my 94 FD. I was thinking about Koni adjustables for the struts and then an Eibach pro kit for springs. Does that sound like a good idea? I'd like to avoid the price of coil-over sets, but I don't want to worry about any problems of compatibility. Is that all I need if I buy the Konis and the Eibachs, or should I invest in a pillow ball kit too?
