Red face suspension suggestion for n00b..

I don't have a whole lot of suspension experience.. is it possible to install 17's on an FD as well as lower it just enough that there's not excessive fender gap, (don't want to slam it), without harshening the ride at all? If so I'd like some suggestions on what to buy.. I'm not at all looking to increase handling, though obviously don't want to decrease it either, (or I'd be a jackass & just cut the springs ). As always, thanks in advance!

Yes, you can. You'll be better off going with a decent coilover like the Tein Flex from the start. That will get you comfort with being able to adjust ride height. You could do a shock/lower spring combo but you'll be 2/3rd's of the way to the Tein setup.

Cool, thanks. I figured coilovers would be the suggestion, but was hoping for specific names (like the Teins), so I'd know specific set/s that wouldn't be too stiff on the softest setting etc. With past cars I've just done Tokico Blue's & chose springs wisely/with crossed fingers, haha!
