Suspension advice...

I have a r1 with 42k original miles. Can I just get springs and what not instead of full coil-overs? What would be a good way to go? I read something about Sleepr1 talking about it but i cant find it again...soo..?

Sure you can. You can get stiffer, shorter springs that fit on the existing perches, and adjustable shocks (Koni, etc) to go with 'em.

Yeah, depending on how low you want or what your needs are you can do one or both of these.

I'd suggest changing your struts before the springs. You can go Konis and stock springs. The Konis allow you to lower the front 10mm and 15mm in the rear I believe. If you want more then you can get the HR's which will be additional 1.25" drop.

If you want a similar ride and better handling then get the Konis and stay stock. You'll still be able to acheive a slightly lower stance.

That's what we recommend.
