Stuck Koni Yellow

I have a set of Koni Yellows for my FD. I got them used and have not yet installed them. They look good and there is no evidence of leaks. I have not idea how long they have been sitting. The two rear and one front all feel the same when you push and pull by hand. But the other front shock is very hard to move either way. It seems like the adjustment is stuck on full hard. The adjusment turns fine so I have turned it hoping to free something up inside but no luck so far. Any ideas what I could do? Might it come free if i install it and drive some? Or would that just be a waste of time? Thanks!

You could take it to someone that has a shock dyno and run it at a higher velocity and hope that it will free the needle up. It will also save you the trouble of actually installing them to find out that it is junk.

I'd be happy to do that if I could fine a shock dyno! I guess I'll have to look a little harder.
