i see drag racing every once and a while. but mainly use my fd for the road. which is the best street slicks tires? i mean a tire that can be used at a dragstrip as well as the street.

my car passed the 1/4 mile at 13.5 with really bad worn tires (one actually exploded while racing). i was burning rubber all over 1st and shift to 2 .
i wish to see 13 flat or maybe high 12s with a better tire.

any inputs?

I personally would go with BFG G-Force Street tires. I have them on my Corvette Z06 and they hook, and i have a lot of torque. I would stray from drag radials because they suck in the rain wear fast and if they don't wear fast(Nittos) they get hard as a rock. Everyone loves Nittos long lives but they get hard and non-streetable after like 7 thousand miles.

i have a set of g-Force T/A Drag Radial-2 for sale. Almost new i got about 5 runs out of them. I ran a 12.5 @ 118mph on stock twins.
