Stock T2 seized caliper
I am having a bit of a knightmare with my ft calipers.
I found the ft brakes where binding and causing the free wheeling of the car to be very short.
I have had a good look at the calipers to find three of the eight had seized.
I have a problem now, i know the car had stood for over two years and i think they may be Rusted into the caliper.
Is there any good ways of freeing the pistons without the car beeing off the road for too long?
I have done a search and found how to remove pistons with Compressed air but i have tryed taking the pad out putting a block of wood between the Good piston and the Disk then push the brakes as hard as i could, with no Joy. So i dont think air would do it.
Cheers
Chris

chris,
remove the calipers. take them to a shop and they should be able to easily free them up for you. it shouldn't be an expensive proposition. they will press the pistons into the calipers...
once freed they should be fine.... install some new rubber seals.
good luck,
