What is the widest tire that can be run on stockers without any clearance issues and compromising safety?

I would say that really safely you could run a 225/50/16. On my old TII I had 245/50/16 on stock TII wheels and I would not recommend it really, unless you REALLY need more straight line traction/will be using drag radials.
