Will the stock FD suspension fork on the S5 FC?

No.

They have completely different suspension geometry.

Hm.... So it's mostly just a matter of the actual geometry, on which it operates, or mounting design(s)?

grab an fc and an FD subframe, drill and bolt. probably easier then putting rx-8 seats into an fc.

suspension is 100% different. in every way. well, they both use pin mounts up top, so i gues 95%

LOL. I'm not a betting man, but those statistics are enough for me!

I figured, I've got a set of stock, FD dampers, I may as well see!
