Stock or ce28n

I would like to run my fd in drag racing. I have for rear a pair of stock rims 8x16 and a pair of ce28n 9,5x17. which pair its better for drag ?????

The stock wheels. Slap some 255/50 16 BFG drag radials on and go for it. Or some M/T Streets....

my 17x9.5 ce28n weighed only 16lbs on a digital scale

I think the tires are going to make more of a difference than the wheel selection. The CE28N is more of a road race wheel with dimensions suited for low profile, wide tires. Low aspect ratio is not necessarily what you want for drag racing...
