Question Steering squeaks when it gets cold..??

I have a 88 TII, stock suspension with 69K miles. During the summer everything is fine, no squeaks at all, but the minute the temperature falls below 58 or so, a bushing starts to squeak when I turn the steering wheel. I know it is not the power steering, it still does it when the car is off. Also, it is barely audible from outside the car, inside however it is very noticeable. Any ideas what this could be?? I am thinking about getting under there and spraying wd40 on each bushing (1 at a time) to try to figure out what it is. Is this a good method?? Can anyone point me in a better direction?

Thanks, Rob
