squish sound from coilovers?

I just finished installing my used coilovers and the rears make a squish sound when I go over bumps. It doesn't feel like the shock is blown, but what could it be? Could it be that I didn't tighten that top nut on the strut enough?

Any help is appreciated.

Could just be the sound of the oil in the shock going through the piston as it gets compressed.
