springs, struts, lowering help

1990 RX-7 vert, 145K miles, daily driver, replaced struts at Pep Boys (lifetime warranty) 6 years ago.

I'm pretty sure one or both of my struts are gone. The car is really bouncy at high speeds. Should I just go with the Pep Boys struts (Gabriel or similar) again or something better?

As long as the struts are out and it needs a new alignment, I'm wondering about front springs. These are the originals. How do I know if they are bad? The car is sitting level with 25" to the inside of the fender lip to the ground on each side 20560R15 tires). Does lowering really help with handling and is it worth the money? Suggestions and what brands do you like?

Mazdatrix sells a 3/4" lowering kit for $158. Thoughts?

While it is apart should I replace all of the items below? Anything else? Do you guys like the stock parts or Mazdatrix's polyurethane?
