What spare tire do you guys with the RZ brakes or big brake kits use. It would suck to be stranded because i did not have a spare tire.

 

I purchased Mustang Cobra GT aluminum 17" spare tire off ebay . I understand the Supra 17" spare will also fit. (bolt pattern, offset)

The only problem was it comes with a T145/70D17 tire mounted on it.

It only fits in the spare tire cavity if its completly deflated. Defeating using it as a spare.

Got the proper OE size tire from Tire Rack (T125/70D17) & all is good now.

Probably be over the tipping point from a cost perspective once shipping is factored in, the proper alloy one with tyre was on the Japanese auctions a couple of weeks back. If you are really flush, you could order a new rim, 99650-14070.

 

any 5-lug bolt pattern mustang, they're all the same, I needed a spare and I borrowed one of the bullitts my buddy had lying in his garage, that looked a little awkward

I wonder if the spare from the RX8 or Mazdaspeed3 work? They are 17" spare rims with the correct sized tire mentioned above.
