slotted brake drum direction(pic)
I've seen these installed in different directions, but I want to know once and for all the direction that they should be installed. I keep hearing a metallic sound from this wheel(front passenger side).
?Where's the drum, I only see a disk?
It really doesn't matter what way they point as long as the internal passages are angled backwards compared to the rotation of the wheel if they're angled at all.

I think what black91n/a is trying to say is:
Direction of the slots/drilled holes does not matter. The most important part is if the rotors are of a curved vane design, they need to curve back towards the rear. That way they are cooling properly. The slots/drilled holes are meant to shave the excess on the pads.
