Should I get this...

18'' Racing Hart C2 3-piece wheels 18x8 w/ Dunlop sp9000 235/40/ tires. Dual 4x114.3 and 5x114.3 lug patterns. Offsets are +42 all around.

I was wondering if getting this 18x8 setup would be okay for an Fd. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Those will fit fine. But I'd go with a staggered set-up with wider rear wheels. I have 18x8.5f 45mm+ and 18x9.5" 45mm+

As John said, those will fit, but they will be skinny. You certainly won't be gaining much if anything in handling.
