RX7 and MP3 handling?

I have a friend that bought a mp3. It's a sporty looking car and it handles good, but this guy brags how much his car can handle and how fast his slalom speeds are and all this ****! Has anyone gone at it in a course with twisties or test drove one and compared its handling capabilities? Thanks

We autox an MP3 in SF. I'm waiting my turn behind the wheel, but I must say that it's the **** for out of the box handling performance, Put a really good driver behind the wheel and the sky's the limit.

It has great torque at low rpms and serves autox purposes well. I don't believe it has enough horspower to be good roadracing, however a simple swap can take care of the low compression issues with the FS-DE.

Autox in stock class and swap out the 22lb imitation Racing Hart wheels for some lightweight forged 17x7's in a +50-55 offset and good tires, **** you would be at the top of your class. It's you and the Miatas, hehe. Could even put adjustables in their and stay in your class and really kick ***. I mean it comes with specifically valved Tokiko HP's, Springs, Sway Bars, and Rims, STB stock. Other goodies, but nothing to do with Handling.

I own a Protege5 and am amazed at its prowess. I have yet to enjoy a FWD car as much as the Protege. They have less of a tendency to understeer, as typically felt with FWD vehicles.

I'd say the BEST GAS MILEAGE DRIVING EXPERIENCE I've ever has. hehe.

Nothing compares to the feeling of a RWD Rotary though. IMO.

I was looking at getting one however after looking over the specs I don't really like the speed times such as 0-60, 1/4 mile, etc. it is a slow car with a great handling package. All they need to do is give it some zoom zoom and it will be all good

Thats why Mazda is going to be putting a turbo on the new one.
Can we say handles better than a Z06, fast as WRX and cheaper!
