Thumbs up rx7.com SS DOT brake lines are coated

I just got these lines and I must say that they are very high quality (http://www.rx7.com/store/rx7/fdbrakes.html). The reason I'm posting is because a lot of people seem worried about how to coat their SS lines so that they don't prematurely wear out from dirt particles... well, these are already coated with a clear rubber like speaker wire. They look amazing. Here is a pic, I know it's not the best, but it's the only one that I could get below 100k to post it .

Cool

Best thing is, that they are DOT.
If you ever get in an accident due to brake line failure, the insurance will not cover you.
You will be all alone to answer the judge and sign that blank check to the other party.

Why won't he be covered if the lines are DOT?

He's referring to non-DOT approved SS brake lines. Meaning, since they are not street legal equipment, YOU are liable for any accidents due to their failure.
