Russell FC Brake Line Problem

I just got a set of Russell SS brake lines for my FC and found the front fittings will require an adapter. I have 4 piston calipers that have a female fitting and the brake lines also have female fittings. Has anyone used these lines with adapters and if so what was the Russell part number? I am really tempted to return them for lines that are direct replacements (Russell claims these are) but, I will keep them if they will work with properly adapters.

If I remember correctly, the front line has to have two female ends. You keep the hard line from the caliper to the strut. The Russell line only replaces the rubber hose between the two hard lines. Hope that helps.

I was missing the hard lines since I am converting to 4 piston calipers. Thanks Nova7

return them, I bought the same kit that you did, rears work fine but fronts dont match up... I went to lordco serval times and phoning Mopac (where i bought them). I was unable to get any help even after asking "brake experts" from mopac/lordco and trying out different fittings still nothing. so i fed up i swapped my rubber lines back on the front.

Just save yourself the hassle and return them. Get a kit that people on this site confirm is a direct bolt-on.

604Ryder, do you have the single piston calipers up front? They are different so need different lines. The four piston calipers on the GXLs and Turbos have a short hard line from the caliper to the stut. The flexible lines go between that and the other hard line on the wheel well.
