Russel Brake line HORROR STORY

well let me start off by saying that i recently bought new calipers for all four corners which ran about 400 bux ... i decided to put in SS brake lines, so i went to a mopac that wasnt too far awayand asked about them, they said that they would order me some goodridge lines that were DOT, so i agreed, they charged me ~190 cause i got the speed delivery (it is cnd currency btw) anyways they told me they would b here in 2 weeks ... so i paid them half of the total cost and left. after about a week i started prepping for the install .... removing all the calipers and turning them in for core charges and painting the new calipers VHT racing red with a few coats of VHT flameproof clearcoat. i waited .... and waited ... and waited.... after waiting an extra week and still not having any lines i began to wonder why they havent phoned ... so i went down to check up. turns out that they changed my order to Russells "Street Legal Mazda RX-7 86-92" brake lines ... ok i was abit upset about not getting called about it but fine. they told me that they were the same exact thing and that they were still DOT approved and that they were a direct bolt-on. so ok, i said it was fine even though it bugged me a lil bit. another week goes by before i hear from them .... FINALLY after waiting twice as long as it was suppose to take and spending the extra 25 bucks to have them ship it to me so slowly, they gave me a call.i go there and quickly pick up the lines and leave. getting home i decided to test fit the lines on my front calipers (i have them in my room waiting to be installed. Guess what .... they dont match. the lines and the caliper have the same type of fitting ... so i called them up and they had no answers for me, telling me that they dont know why its like that ... so i asked if a lordco would b able to help ... of course still they dont know... so now im stuck with a set of russell lines that dont bolt up ... after waiting so long, not to mention all the money i spent i still have nothing. i just though i would vent out my experience incase someone is wondering wether to buy Russell's brake lines or not .... in my case they were not a direct fit even though they claim them to be. my part number is 685600 for the official site (http://www.russellperformance.com) even on the site is claims that they are oem fit and direct bolt-on and all that crap. so 2moro after work im goin to send them a complaint along with pictures comparing them to my old lines.

now that ive vented all my anger does anyone know what kind of hydraulic fittings i need to buy in order to make these lines work? i was thing of something like this (one of the male 10mm male x 1.0 male)

http://www.russellperformance.com/au.../b_adapt.shtml

anyone know what would fit?

does your car have the 4 pot or single pot calipers? because the lines arent the same. i just went threw something similar with corksport. i recieved the ones for the single calipers when i needed the ones for the 4 pot calipers. but they were nice and once they recieved to other ones back they sent me the correct ones.

A real horror story for brake lines would be if it burst during hard braking and it made you crash.

i noticed on mine that the ones for the single piston calipers looks almost like 2 lines hooked together going to a banjo bolt and the 4 pot have threaded ends on each end.
