Rubber pad spring sits on?

Rubber pad spring sits on?

I'm changing out shocks, springs etc. The rubber pad at the base of the strut where the spring sits is falling apart. Does anyone know where to get replacements, even the tokiko site doesn't list them. OR are they even necessary?
