rotora rotors?

Anybody have an opinion on rotora rotors for an fd? The car sees 4-5 track weekends a year and occasional "spirited" driving otherwise, but is not a daily driver.

I tried ordering brembo rotors from gotham like I usually do but they say they can't get them anymore, and that the rotora rotors are made of a stronger grade steel.

If I order it will be a full set front and rear.

P.S. I've been away from this board for a while so I apologize if this has already been asked. I searched and couldn't find any specific info on these rotors and the fd.

I've heard of them but have no experience with them. I believe Brembo only made the front rotors anyway. FWIW, I've been half-heartedly checking for some aftermarket stock size replacements myself and heard decent things about Powerslot. Did you try searching in the Suspension-Wheels-Tires-Brakes section?

WHO told Gotham, the Rotora rotors are a stronger grade steel? Sounds to me, this is something Rotora told Gotham, or maybe a distributor told Gotham...

I have Rotora rotors on my daily driver (SC300). Actually, I have their slotted rotors on both the front and the back. While I cannot compare directly w/ a Brembo rotor, here are my impressions.

*First of all, note that I'm a bit crazy at times. I had the rotors cryo-treated w/ a vendor here in SoCal. This was in the hopes of increasing the longevity of the rotor as well as help w/ braking.

My impressions, after over one year...

In terms of rotor wear, I'm not totally pleased. I thought my rotors would last longer, but just eyeballing my rotors within the past year...I can see quite a bit of wear. In fact, my front rotors...the slots are getting close to disappearing and the rotor will soon become a flat faced rotor.

I haven't used a caliper to measure the amount of material lost. I should do that, as I have the initial thickness...

Without measure data to back up what I say...I'm going to say that I'm not happy w/ my Rotora rotors. When I get around to measuring,...I'll post up my feedback later...

I might check into powerslot, though I seem to remember them being substantially more expensive.

All I've been able to find is people commenting on the big-brake kits and a couple gen 1 and 2 people using rotora on their cars. Nobody has really posted anything horrible, and since this car is primarily track duty I might go ahead and try them. I'll be replacing them in 6 months anyway most likely.
