Rota

I don't see much talk of Rota wheels here.

Are they quality wheels? The weight is excellent (~16.5 lbs for 17"), the price is good (Sub-Zeros), and I like the look (Racing Hart CP-035 clones).

Is the downside the lack of width and offset options?

Alot of people complain because they make copies of a bunch of popular wheels, namely Honda (Mugen..whatever) Wheels. I dont care myself, wheels are wheels, and if they are lightweight and look nice, who cars what car they were originally made for? Anyway, I dont think they reallly have any FD friendly offsets, but many will work quite nicely on a FC. And you are correct also that they dont go very wide.. 7" in a 16 wheel and 7.5" on a 17 is usually what they go to.

I've got some Rota Slipstreams on my daily driver. Yes, they are copies, but they seem to be very good wheels in their own right, which makes them okay with me. I didn't buy them for the looks anyway. I think copies like the "Formula 1" TE-37 clones made by some other company (not Rota) are dumb, but I don't have a problem with the Rota line. In fact, the Rota wheels seem to be an outstanding value.

I think I have seen them on an FC, but I think the limiting factor is the sizing and offsets like you suspected. My Rotas are 15x6.5"s on an Integra.
