Rims and tires for Rotary Extreme Wide Fender
Rims and tires for Rotary Extreme Wide Fender
I'm looking for rims and tires that will fit rotary extreme wide fender. I'm looking for 17" x 9.5" all around. Does anyone know it will fit? And what offset I should get.
Second, I need to choose some tires. My car is in San Diego. It doesn't rain or snow here. So I can run summer tires all year long. I want the best traction for street with ok wear resistance. Should I get 275/40/17, or 255/40/17, or other size? What are some good option that has those size? Kumho MX, Continental Sport Contact 2, Dunlop Sport 9000, Pirelli P-Zero, Bridgestone Potenza RE750, and what else? I want the best bang for the buck.

With the right offset/backspace/pad height, you don't need a fender kit to fit 9.5 wides x 17s all around with 255/40-17s. With rolled fender lips, you can fit 275/40-17s all around with 9.5 wides, although 275s really like to be mounted on 10 wides--right, Pete LOL ?

I want to buy the wide fender for its look. So 9.5 definately fit? I think 275s are for 9-10.5" wide rims, where as 255s are for 8-9.5" wide rims. Is 255s too skinny for those massive 9.5" rims? Also, we kind of offset should I be looking at?
