Rim & Tire Setup for Widebody FD

HEy guys,

I just put a down on a 2002 GTwidebody and will have it in a few weeks or so. I sold my stock rims and am looking at getting some volk 57pro's or TE37's, the only thing is I'm kinda a newbie to the whole rim thing. I'm looking at an 18x9.0 in the front and 18x10.5 in the rear. My questions are what type of offset should I use for the front and then for the rear? The widebody kit is going to give me 2" wider on each side, and since you can fit a 18x10 on stock wheel wells, I'm trying to figure out what offset would make the rim sit just inside the widebody fenders. Also how does the offset work? +offset sits further in or further towards the ouside of the rim? Can anybody help me on this one?

James

go with 11" wide wheels not 10.5's and go with 315 series tires. i am thinking the correct offset for 11's is 20 and to run 9's up front you will need to run a 45 offset
