Ride Difference with Pillow Ball Mounts?

Anyone install pillow ball mounts with aftermarket spring and shock setup? Is it a ride you can only appreciate on the track or is it streetable? My stock rubber mounts are going bad and I need to change.

I have solid pillowball mounts with my Teins, it is streetable only because I can adjust the stiffness of the ride easily. The first thing I noticed after installing them was the large improvement in steering response and feedback. Unfortunately my car has been down for a while since for something unrelated and I haven't had much of a chance to really give a detailed description of the improvement. HTH.
