recommended alignment settings?
recommended alignment settings?
I was wondering what alignment settings would be appropriate for mainly street/ some track driving. I am concerned about tire wear, but will sacrifice for better handling on the track. The wheels are stock and the suspension is stock R1.
I recently had mine aligned using the Pettit settings... However, I wasn't able to download the info from their site because it had been removed.. Fortunately, a friend of mine had that info from past downloads. Anyway, my car handles great... much better than the stock settings... Also I installed a new set of Bridgestone 245 x 45 16 SO-3 Poles Positions. The car handling is truely amazing...
If you're have trouble getting the alignment specs... PM me
and I'll e-mail them to you.
Good luck,
Rich

The Pettit website recommendations are a bit conservative, IMO. If you truly want to get the most out of your car (and it's suspension), you have to be more aggressive with the settings. 1/32" toe out is almost zero toe. If you want instanteous turn-in, you need something more along the lines of 1/8" - 1/4" toe out. The camber settings are about right, but that is really more dependent on your application.
I'm going with S0-3 245/45/16. RB sway's and Tokiko (spelling??) adjustable shocks. Mainly street driving, some aggresive. What allignment specs would you guys recommend?
The Pettit specs I assume are good for all around driving? Karken, I PM'd you. Thanks in advance.
