I was wondering what is the recommended offset for a 87 turbo II?

I want to get a 17x8 set and put some 245's on there....

What do you guys think?

(I'm pushing enough HP to have those kinda shoes)

 

I know that a 17x8 with a offset if 38 will fit just fine in the front with a 235/40 but I dont think a 245 will fit(the 235 was pretty close but not rubbing) in the back you can put a 17x9 with a 38 offset and it fits great with a 255/40. I have tried these offsets and the tires and they fit great and the line up with the body of the car perfect.
