Real quickly answered question... HELP!
I just had 275-40-17s mounted on an 8.5 inch rim that I thought was larger, mistaken reading earlier in life... Well my question is that on Tirerack.com it says that this tire has a rim width range from 9"-11", Since I am .5 inches too small what will the Ill affects be? Is my tire going to pop off the rim at high speeds? Please, I need help before I roll to Seven stock with this setup...
Thanks In Advance,
Catlin M

the tire or wheel width is half an inch too short... i'm not an expert, but i don't think that it would matter either way, that's only a quarter inch on each side (yeah, i can multiply too!!!)
anyways i'm sure rishie (ard t2) or sleepR1 will have a better answer
