RB springs/Tokico shocks on 1st gen

my springs are hurtin', thinking of going with the RB springs and Tokico shocks/struts. How much of a difference over stock? i don't race the car so i don't want something thats going to shake the teeth out of my head.

i imagine even stock stuff would be an improvement over what i have now, but if i can up the performance a bit without killing the ride i'm all for it.

RB springs/Tokico shocks

I'm in the same boat with my 85 GS. I've had my request posted under the 1st Gen Specific (unfortunately no replies). I'm kind of leaning towards the Eiback Pro Lowering kit for the progrsesive rate springs but still unsure of the shocks (either Tokico HP or KYB GR-2 struts and shocks). I won't be autocrossing either and am looking for better handling without being too radical or bone jarring. Please let me know if you get some good feedback and I'll do the same.

i have tokico 5way adjustable illuminas with stock springs, and the ride is not stiff at all. i just put racing beat springs on front and rear, but i havent had a chance to drive with them on yet. ive been told that it will not hurt streetablity at all, the car will not be too stiff. im planning on autoxing the car but i need it to be streetable too, thats why i went with those. i was told they are the best for street and improved handling
