A guy that I am unable to get hold of races with some lightweight alloy 3pc wheels made by some little known wheel manufacturer in Iowa. I can't remember the name of the company.

Their wheels are not for show, just very plain, lightweight alloy wheels designed to get the job done.

Does anyone know of this company and have link or phone number?

RealWheel is in Iowa. That is the company I bought my 15"x10" from. I got their "Pro 6" design, very light weight and not very expensive.
