I know the '94 and '95's were softened up ... but by that much?

I've had RBs and currently have H&Rs (progressive). If you autocross, go with RB. If you drive your car daily over rough roads, and do open lapping events, get H&Rs. The RB springs were too stiff for the daily grind, but were very responsive on the autocross circuit though, especially through the slaloms. The H&Rs take a heartbeat to settle.
