Arrow A quick tire and handling question

I am tryna build up an fc to have fun with at the 1/4 mile track. Just basically to entertain myself with so im nto putting tooo much money into it. I have a set of 91 coupe wheels for the car and a set of fd wheels lying around.

1) will putting the fd wheels in the rear be helpful at all considering theyre wider? Take into account both sets have street legal tires.

2) will having wider tires in the rear than the front upset the handling at all?

Im sorry i these are newb dumbass questions..

Oh incase its important its an 89 gtu with a 13b-re, running 12lbs and will eventually have a wet shot of nitrous. I am tryna put money aside for some mickey thompsons but until then these are my only options.

The FD wheels will not fit properly without spacers....well, in truth, they will fit on the rear only! However, they will look really retarded because they will be recessed deep into the wheelwell. If you run the spacers, then you are putting extra strain on the wheel studs especially since this is drag racing. Thats not very safe. So, use the '91 15" wheels, or go out and get some other cheap, but properly backspaced set of rims for the rears.

I know they rub the front thats why i will only use them in the rear. I dont really care if they look retarted im just thinking they might provide an advantage being that theyre wider.
