Is the polished lip raw (like Fikse, Kinesis, et al.) or is it clearcoated?

I found a set I may buy but it has some curbing, and my decision to pick them depends up on whether that can be filed and buffed out; I don't want to have to deal w/ taking the wheels apart to properly re-clearcoat the lips.

Anyway, if you know, I'd appreciate any answers.
