Question Quick question (installing springs) fd3s

This is probably a stupid question, but I've been wondering....

when you install springs how much do you supost to screw down the center bolt that goes above the upper mount? All the way in or...? I usually let the car sit on 4 wheels and then bolt down the nut that goes over the upper mount.

All the way tight. There is probably a torque spec in the manual, but it is hard to torque these properly because the shaft will spin.
