Quick fitment question

I can buy another set of rpo1 wheels for cheap 18x9 18x8 both 38 offset.My question is could I mount my 255/35 t1s tire on the 8 inch wheel up front without rubbing?

You can't mount a 255/35 on an 18x8 rim, the tire is too wide.
