Question Questions on new Fikse Profil Line

Web site says "available in 18" and 19" applications"

http://www.fikse.com/profil.html

Does that mean no 17" sizes? Rishie? anyone?

Thanks for the info, if nobody knows I'll call them this afternoon...

Wow,
I hadn't heard about this new line, but a can't really discern any big differences between these and the original wheels. Are they considered a more economical line, or a higher-end?

well, it says modular, so ideally it should be cheaper system to manufacture...

Whether or not that transferrs to MSRP I wouldn't hold my breath.

Their old (now "classic") wheels are all modular as well. The DOESN"T equate to cheap usually. I think most modulars such as Fikse, Kenesis, HRE are outrageously priced. $1000 per wheel? Robbery. No wheel should be that much... even forged magnesium.

Modulars advantage is usually a mor custom fitment and reparability.

You may get away a little cheaper for 17" (i'm gusing your gonna try the A032's?).... maybe $750 per?

What finish are you gonna get? I've seen a set of black FM-10's in person and they are awesome! You've already blown your stealth-factor, so think about it... :-)

Nocab,

Hit me up cause I think we may submit a few orders. If it works out I might be able to get us into better pricing. I stopped doing a lot of business this year due to the change in price structure.

I got a couple of inquiries so let me know ASAP and I can get everyone a better deal this way.

Thanks, Rishie

Toy - you are the man!!!

Vosko - you suck.

Here was my lousy attempt to see what black wheels looked like on my car...

I'm thinking Volk CE28N's in Racing Black on my car with CF hood and CF covered horizontal rear spoiler piece

Nobody makes the PERFECT wheel do they? Wish i had the cheeze to pay someone to do one-offs for me like JimLab.

Vosko:
I like to think i am a maniac on a roadcourse, but I havn't been on one since Watkins Glen in May 2001, and before that it was spring MADS 2000. You may have me confused w/ my twin brother Ed Hahn with the grren FD?

Although I like Classic Mach V alot, the Profil 5S is tight . It does say 18 &19's, so I doubt we can get 17's. Is anyone going to be buying with tax return money? I won't be able to buy mine untill (feb/mar) then. Oh and Yes, they are a insane price without a decent discount!!! What do you guys think about a Race Black center section and full polish rim finish?
Rishi: What will be the pricing for the Profil line? ...can you PM me, please?

Rishie, PM me some prices on 18X10 +41ish (tentative) and 18X11 +11ish for both Profil 10s and the Classic FM10s, polished lip/black centers.

Thanks!
