Questions about tire fitting issues.

Got a few questions for you guys and wonering opinions as well. Everything is for my car in my sig.

Alright, I want to get some new rims for my car. I am looking into getting some 18's. I want to know what profile (sidewall height) of tire you guys are all using that have 18's and what everyone thinks is the best. Should I get a 35 or a 40 on 18's?

Also I am wondering about how wide of a tire I can fit on a set of rims that is 7.5 inches wide or 8.5 inches wide? I am hoping to get 235's or 245's on the back, and 225's or 235's on the front. Would I need to get the 8.5inch wide rim to get 245's on the back? Any info on all of this would be great.

The rims I am getting (hopefully) are the ADR M Sports in Hyper Black, they have a 35mm offset on the 18x8.5 set.

later
-Justin

Appropriate tire sizes would be 225/40, 235/40, or 245/35. Minimum rim width for 225/40 is 7.5", minimum width for 235/40 or 245/35 is 8". Preferably wider.
