Question on new wheels on a FC

Hey guys, I have decided to get a set of white Konig Rated R, 16x7. If I remmeber right, they have a 40mm offset like hte stock T2 wheels, I really want to run 225/50/16. The tire of my choice is Kuhmo 712. Will I have problem clearing them in the front? I have KYB AGX shocks with Eibach lowering springs. Also with the same offset rim, i dont have to worry about rim sticking out looking ugly right? Thanks

Don't do the Konigs. You'd be better off getting something lighter in the same price range. Even a lightweight Rota would be better.

Do you really want the TE37 knock off look?

Of course i dont want to run cheap wheels, but my car is a daily driver that gets driven 40K miles a year. I definitely dont need to spend 1K on wheels, plus this car has a tendancy to attract everything. Everytime I wash it or do something nice to it, it will usually get keyed, egged or something. So I figure something cheap will do. Another reason why i am going with rims is that I have lowering springs. With the stock 15 inch, car looks really ghetto. I really need bigger wheels to fix the problem. I have looked at other wheels, they are either too expensive or dont look good.

As for fitment, even in a 16 unless a +40, you will want to run a 205/55/16. In the rear you can run the 225/50/16. Now if you get around a +40 you should be able to run a 225/40/16 which is also offered in the 712. This is a great setup for the front of the FC.

LEt me look into some other options also. Is the 6 spoke your style?

Thanks, Rishie

I like 5 or 6 spokes. Hmm if i cant fit 225s in the front, i might have to do 205s all around
