Question about fitment: Blitz 17" 03s (17x9, 35mm / 17x10, 42mm)

Hello forum members,

I'm sure someone can help me out with a fitment question. I own a '93FD and I am about to purhcase a set of 17" Blitz 03s. The seller lives in another state and isn't 100% sure on the exact specs; when he called the rim shop from where he purchased the wheels, they provided the following information:

Fronts: 17x9, 35mm offset
Rears: 17x10, 42mm offset

Furthermore, these came off of a MKIV Supra if that helps any. My question is quite obvious at this point: Will these wheels fit my 3rd Gen. RX-7?

Thank you for any help you can provide. I know there a a few experts in this field (SleepR1, ARD T2, DCLIN, etc.) that I've seen helping others out numerous times. You guys are great!

Also, if this helps, my suspension mods include: Tri-point valved adjustable Koni Sports with a threaded perch setup + mounts from Ground Control, together with H&Rs.

The fronts will not work. the rears will work. You'll need a +45 offset to be ideal in the front. 10mm is quite a ways from that.

Have heard of +40's working, but that is pushing it for sure.

I agree with Rishie...

Why are you using Supra wheel applications for an FD Rx7? The bolt patterns are different? The Blitzes are quite heavy...probably in the 25 to 30-lb range! Throw the wheel/tire on the scale. I bet it reads between 55 and 60 lbs each

PM Rishie at ARD T2 to get FD Rx7 specific wheel applications! Rishie specializes in lightweight but strong Volk Racing wheels. He'll get your wheel/tie weight down to between 45 lbs each for the same sizes as your Blitzes (for a Supra)...

Thanks for the advice!
I believe the bolt pattern is the same, however, I wasn't too sure if the offsets were too "off". And, yes, they are quite heavy, but I was getting a really great deal on them and it was worth asking you guys. Thanks again!

The centerbores are not the same

MK IV Supras have a larger centerbore than the FD Rx7's centerbore. This means you'll need to find hubcentric rings that will fit the FD Rx7...

It's a not a great deal, if the wheels don't really fit your application...

I own a mkiv supra in addition to my 430rwhp fc, I might want those wheels. How much did the seller want? Do you know if they are still for sale? Carl, 707-696-2705 TIA
