Purchasing wheels, need correct offset for 17" X 9.5" on FD

Ok, I 'm looking at a couple of sets of wheels to use on my car to track with. I have downloaded and punched in some offsets on the FD Wheel and Tire Sizing spreadsheet but I can't find a good solution for 17" X 9.5". I want to be able to rotate the wheels front to back so I need a standard offset between them. Is this possible without rolling my fenders? I am not against doing that but I would rather not if I could get away with it in part to save money and also not crack or risk cracking the paint. Any ideas?

The wheels I have looked at have a offset of +43, will this work? The Wheel Sizing guide says that the figures it comes up with allows about 1/4"clearance so when it says -0.06 does this mean there is still 0.19" clearance?

If you don't want to rub, or do any rigging to your car, get all 4 wheels in a +50 offset, and run a conservative ride height w/ your coilovers.

Also, determine what size tire you will be running. I have 17 X 9 with 44 offset and fronts rubbed with 245 50's, but not with 255 50's. I agree with ^ in regards to your coilovers. BTW, my suspension is all stock, 93 tourning.

That's because your tire sizes are all wrong -- 17x9 = 245/40 or 255/40 17.

SpeedKing is right, you need something in the +50 range or very close. What tires are you looking to run? Unless you are running Hoosiers, I would not run 275/40 17 up front, it's just too tall. That leaves you with running 265 or smaller widths, which you can also run with a 17x9 wheel, which widens your offset range to +45 to +50.

What is your price range? Will these be track wheels only?

Hoosier 275/40-17 tires are actually smaller in diameter (25.2") than you get with a simple calc (25.7").

I know, that's why I said UNLESS he's running Hoosiers, don't run 275/40...

Oops I'm a goob! Yes 255 are 40's. The 245's came with the used rims I bought and they are 45's sumo's. Put them on for a few weeks until I got replacement tires.
