powerslot or KVR slotted?
I am in need of new front rotors, and have been looking at getting gas slotted ones. The KVR's are cheaper but are they as good a quality rotor as the powerslots? I've had previous vehicles that I accidentaly put on generic replacement rotors(also known as "garbage") and could tell a huge difference in overall braking suckiness. Anyway, my FC has the original Mazda rotors and Axxis Metal Masters pads(which helped out pretty well I'd say) but the rotors are way worn. Anyone have some opinions or experience with either of these brands and how they compare with Mazda's? Thanks for any help!

I got the KVR Performance slotted rotors. All 4 for my '89 T2 shipped to my door was $376 plus change. I got them through alamomotorsports.com and it took a couple of weeks to get to me. They were worth the wait. When I opened the main box, two of the rotor boxes were Brembo rotor boxes. The other were not. All four rotors appeared to be from the same manufacturer upon closer inspection. I'm guessing that KVR contracts Brembo to make their rotors. The price is what originally sold me. Check out alamomotorsports.com for yourselves to see what I mean. Good luck.

Hey thanks man. I was looking at the KVR's at Alamo because of another post you had. They are't a bad price in comparison with original equipment or other aftermarket stuff. I just wanted to make sure they weren't expensive junk metal. I'll be checking the status of my current rotors more tommorrow(see if they can be turned or not, more likely the latter), and probably order them soon after if needed. Anyway, thanks for the heads-up.
