planning on buying rims but I have no idea on fitment.

I want to buy a set of four 18X8.5 rims for my FD. I think they come in 45 offset from what i read. Is this a good fit for my FD? Also, I found a set of used 255/45/18 tires that I will use for all four rims...is this the right size? My car is lowered about 2" with Tokiko adjustable shocks and some lowering springs, will I rub with 255s all around?

You will rub with a 45 series tire. For example, I had rubbing issues with a 235/45/17 up front and my car is only lowered about an inch. It's really going to be tight with almost any larger than stock wheel and a 2" drop.
