Pirelli PZero Corsas
Does anyone on the list have experience with these tires? Tirerack has them on sale currently and they're a steal in the size I need. Car is being converted to a weekend-only ride shortly and I was thinking this would be an excellent tire for some serious street and track use. I'm really in need of something more sticky on the rear. Wondering if they need a lot of heat in them before they start to work or are they ok at street speeds? They have the correct size and they're cheaper than the RA-1's. I just don't want to purchase something that requires a track to get them up to temp!

Michel,
They are a good deal indeed. Drop Damian a line... he has them on his car at the moment.
You may also want to take a look at the Dunlop super sports which are also a real bargain, because the Pirellis are not only directional but unsymmetrical as well.

Wow, the Dunlop's are even cheaper! With no rain and no "real" cold weather down here over the winter, these may be just what I need until the monsoon season :-) I'd jump on the RA-1's if they came in a 265/30/18.
