no. they're velox VX-8R's... Of course, I'm sure they're a knockoff of something, everything else is...
And Dave's coming, I'm still not sure which car. His shock was sent out to be rebuilt, and if it showed up this afternoon like it was supposed to he'll be here. Otherwise, he'll be in my car I think. I'll be there either way.

well, I've only been running on them a week, but they are a hell of alot stickier than any other street tire I've ever used...
My father has them on his Miata as well, and they rule! They don't squeal around corners like a normal street tire, they scrub more like my autocross tires do. Supposedly they are the updated version of the AVS intermediate which everyone seemed to love, so I thought I'd try them out for $76 each... Love 'em so far, but don't have much to compare them to...

No rubbing up front with the 205/45's? I know I can't even bolt up my +15 offset 15x7 panasports with 205/50 Dunlop SP8000's on the front of my car. What offset are you running? I run a 15x6 panasport (same offset) up front with 195/50 rubber.

205/40-16 on 16x7 40mm offset..
BUT, I've also got the GC coil overs on mine, so I think that buys me some space on the inside.... They fit tight on the inside with the perches pretty high up..
I cheated and bought a thin spacer for those pictures and could drop the perches all the way to the bottom (kinda like in the picture) but that looks dumb, so I brought them back up.

no, the rear is still stock hieght in those pictures and the front is *really* low because the coilovers are nealy at the bottom. I've brought then back to a sane hieght, and new springs for the rear will be here shortly.

Im asking because i have the GC coil overs with camber/caster plates and mr2 rear shox up front. regular SE illuminas rear with stock springs.

I'm running the same setup as you currently actually... My rears are going to be coming from GC. I'm going for the ones they make with the dead coils so you can trim to height....

We meet @ 635 & MacAurther there between Cheddar's and Starbucks... Pretty much every Wed. No one went last week because of the rain though. Post in the south section & you'll get lots of response.
