Pic request: ADV-1 on FD - aggressive offset concave

Hey, as the title states, i'm looking for a picture of an FD with Advan ADV-1 rims, 18" if possible. I want to know what a really concave set looks like on an FD.

Thanks.

ADV-1 is not the same thing as Yokohama ADVAN wheels.

This is what I'm looking for, they are Advance One wheels, Model 5.1 - but obviously without a crazy drop

My god, they are amazing, too bad over $1000 a piece. Has anyone seen these on an fd?

They are closer to 1500 to 2000 a piece.

Take a look at Enkei's RP03's. Similar design without the hit to the wallet.

Here are the Enkei RPO-3's
Good call Mahjik, now I just need to find them in black

Does anyone have info on what kind of offset i'd need to get that nice concave look on the front and back?

The Andvance-One's above are 1 piece forged rims, I think thats why they are so expensive. Plus I think they can afford to be that expensive because they are targeting high end cars. If you look at their website, all the cars shown pricey (Lambo's, vipers, etc..)

To my knowledge, they do not offer them in black. You'd probably need to do that on your own (which is definitely possible).

Yeah, i haven't found them in black, so I guess I can just have them coated.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure how concave I'll be able to get. On other FD's (non-widebody) the front spokes are always straight. I think the Blue can afford such concavity just because its a widebody. Anyone have any pics of this rim on a stock FD with concave spokes?

Do like a 18 x 10 + 18 rear and 18 x 9 + 10 front. 245 fronts and like 265 rears.

Plenty concave. If fenders are modified ( rolled ), it should be ok.

1 piece cast or forged wheels usually have few disks so they are concave on a certain offset range.

ADV-1 targets high end cars with a high end price. Usually they care about cars that are 80,000 or more expensive.

I just got a response from ADV-1 about pricing. For 18" diameter, 10.5" wide in the rear, and 8.5" wide in the front it would run me about $6000 for just the rims (then at least $800 for tires).

Looks like i'll be pursuing some Enkei's

Thanks for the offset info Miata mx5. Hopefully i can find someone to buy my rpf-1's haha.

There are other really nice wheels that come in good sizing that won't totally wreck the wallet too. SSR makes some nice forged wheels, and the Weds TC105N is forged. These are in the 2000-3000 dollar range.

If you don't mind multipiece, forgeline and Work have some nice options too.

I don't know if scam or not but ADV concave looking wheels look hot imo. I don't why it took so long for someone to come up with these style wheels finally.

You can get the RP03's powder coated black for a crapload cheaper than buying the ADV.1.

I just did a set for a RX8, i need to upload the photos. They came out super sick.

Don't mean the TJ, but since requested this might aid your decisions.

RP03 doesn't come in an "ideal" fitment for FD, but really minor fender mods and we can get 9's all around with 255's.

Darn, I'll have to ask him for more shots of the spoke curvature. you can see it in one of the pics.

This is a Metallic Gloss Black.

18x9.5 +38 with RT615 275/35/18

Anything wider than 8.5" will have this type of concavity.

Yes those RP0-3s are sick nasty.

I have RPF-1s already, 8.5" front, 9.5" rear. so I think my fenders should already be able to accomodate.

But what about a matte/satin powdercoat like the ADV-1's. I'm not sure about the glossy look.

That can be done. A satin Wrinkle black looks really good too. I don't have sample photos of that but you can find pics of that finish online i'm sure.
